We had a white male possibly Italian 6’02” 240lbs. come to the residence of
an elderly couple saying that he worked for Georgia Power and that he was
going to be doing some trenching in the back of their residence. He asked
the couple to come into the back yard of their residence so he could show
them the area he was going to be working. He was very smooth in determining
that no one else was inside the residence and was talking with another
person over a Nextel. While he was in the back yard with the couple his
accomplice entered the residence and stole Jewelry and money. These thieves
usually target the elderly. The victims in this case were no exception.
